Learned three things about Belgium :
- It's very flat
- They have a lot of cows (Fresian & Charolais if you are interested)
- Coffee is better tasting & cheaper than Germany
Germany has more rolling countryside & forests so is more scenic. Saw a few buzzards & some deer. Once off the motorway the villages were very pretty. Most of motorway was unlimited speed limit so if you are sticking to 70/80 mph most things pass you as though you are stopped. Got to hotel at 7.00pm & guy on reception handed us a couple of beers as soon as we said we had a reservation - you cant get a better welcome than that.
